Ripe and clean fruit from the estate vineyards in the Waihopai Valley and early morning harvesting with cool temperatures have kept the full and fresh characters in each portion. This wine was skillfully blended from a large number of different tanks. Each tank giving its own particular feature to make up this lovely fresh and interesting wine.

The Waihopai range of wines sources fruit from our unique ridgetop location with dry, stony and clay soils. This characterises as low vigour and low volume crops. As such there is more density and weight, with lemon lime and tropical notes as opposed to grassiness. Estate grown, the range shows how skillful vineyard management can have a substantial affect through to the palate. From a winemaking perstective, portions of fruit are selected to add unique character and produce interesting tastes and textures.
Great with appetizers, fragrant summer salads and seafood dishes. A wine to enjoy lingering over a long lunch or to start a fantastic evening.
